LINER Rakes
Reliable as a clock, clean as a whistle

The CLAAS name stands for professional equipment, from the smallest LINER model to the largest. Equipped with sealed, continuously lubricated rotor housings all CLAAS rakes form clean windrows, with unparalleled terrain following and industry best durability.

LINER Four Rotor.

Manage weather windows better and maximize forage harvester throughput with LINER four rotor rotary rakes. Cover hundreds of acres quickly while only placing hay in the tall, fluffy windrows. These clean windrows maximize the nutritional value of the harvested feed without sacrificing capacity.

LINER 3100 / 2900 / 2800 / 2700 / 2600 TREND

Handle large volumes of wet or dry crop with hydraulic and rope actuated functions to form perfectly shaped windrows for the following baler.  20’ 4” – 32’ 9” (6.2-10.0m).

features

Simply consistent windrows.

Forget the ropy and dirty windrows of a bar or wheel rake when using a LINER TREND center delivery rotary rake. Benefit from tall, fluffy windrows that dry evenly and bale faster without the risk of plugging. Each rotor adapts to ground contour independently of the frame, eliminating rake tooth damage from gouging. Whether working with silage, hay, or straw, the LINER dual rotor rake offers flexibility along with high throughput for simply consistent windrows.

Short between fields.

A short transport height of 13 feet 2 inches (4 m) is achieved without removing tine arms (except for LINER 3100 TREND, not shown). This allows the operator to stay in the cab to be quick and efficient between fields. With three tine arms removed, the machine does become considerably shorter to fit in tight spaces during the storage season.

Variable widths.

On LINER 2800, 2900, and 3100 TREND, rotors ride on a slotted beam (shown) that allows infinitely adjustable working and swath widths. Moved simultaneously using the tractor's double-acting spool valve makes fine-tuning possible while moving through the field. The LINER 2700 TREND working width is set by selecting one of four limit bolt positions (not shown). The working width of the LINER 2600 TREND is adjusted manually.

Powerful driveline.

The tried and true mechanical rotor driveline uses straight drivelines to get power to the rotors. A gear differential in the Y-gearbox allows the tractor PTO to be operated at low speeds, reducing fuel consumption. This spins rotors slowly to retain valuable leaves on legumes like alfalfa while having the torque to flip windrows of heavy grasses. Each rotor is protected individually by a friction clutch for non-stop maintenance of driveline integrity.

Optional hydraulic tine height control.

Adjusting rotor tine height is quick with the activation of a spool valve on the optional hydraulic tine height control system (shown). The system replaces the standard fitted crank handle (not shown) to allow adjustments to be made from the operator seat. Fine-tuning rotor height minimizes ash contamination and maximizes crop value. No electrical connection is needed to power a terminal or operate the rake's full capabilities. This simple system ensures seamless operation year after year and can be field installed at a later date if needed.
